Our Vision and Mission
About City Blossoms Inc.
City Blossoms Inc. is a St. Louis–based nonprofit rooted in the belief that gardening can grow more than just food—it can grow community. We are dedicated to transforming neighborhoods through organic gardening, environmental education, and the creation of vibrant, inclusive green spaces.
Our mission is to cultivate unity, wellness, and sustainability by providing hands-on gardening experiences that connect individuals and families, foster intergenerational learning, and empower communities to thrive. From building community gardens to teaching organic practices and offering youth volunteer programs, every initiative is designed to promote environmental stewardship and end food apartheid.
We believe in the power of nature to heal and bring people together. Whether it’s planting vegetables side-by-side, beautifying shared spaces, or preserving native habitats, City Blossoms Inc. is committed to growing a healthier, more connected St. Louis—one garden at a time.
